This project started in 2017, long before I ever thought of it as a “project”, and is still the identity that I resonate with. At the time, I was studying in Caracas, Venezuela, sketching furniture pretty often, like chairs, tables, sofas, abstract sculptures. Eventually, I moved from paper into prototyping, beginning with tables, then moving to lamps. I was just cutting paper and making folds to create any shapes and forms that caught my eye. That process led to the creation of the P01 Lamp, a piece that reflects my ongoing interest in structure, geometry, and the relationship between materials.

My background is in visual communication, and I spent four years in New York before recently relocating to Los Angeles. Each move has shaped murirami’s evolution: from sketches made in Caracas, to prototypes built in Brooklyn, to the current stage in LA where I’m focusing on growth and collaboration.

Today, murirami is my way of exploring design, shaped by experimentation, and open to new partnerships. I’m looking to connect with industry professionals, share ideas, and continue building pieces that exist at the intersection of utility and expression.
